I am growing amaryllis.About after a week it bloomed,it started to droop.Is this usual?

please tell why it is usual/unusual.if usual,do i still need to water it.if not, what did i do wrong?

you didn't say where you live but this plant is for zones 9-10 so it could have gotten to cold for it. try watering and see if it snaps out of the droops, you should know in a few days
Reply:after blooming for a week, they can start to die....it is best to leave them out of direct sun once they bloom, then they last longer (if you can, like if it is in a pot). anyways, if it isn't rooted well, it should do better next year, cut it down to the shoots, and keep watering it, but not frequently...and it will grow again next year.
