I have a plant that could be an amaryllis, but I don't think it is. The bulb looks like a big onion and it has one huge leaf that is growing quite tall (2 feet so far)! Last year in the fall or winter it sprouted flowers but we can''t remember what color. We're just wondering what it is so we can know how to care for it. Thanks.
Does anyone know of a website where I can go and figure out what kind of plant I have?

Reply:Hello, I have found a great site for you, it gives you plants's names with pictures alphabetically.

Reply:Sounds like an Allium to me. It is in the onion family. http://images.google.com/images?svnum=10...
I personally use GardenWeb for information and pictures of plants. http://www.gardenweb.com/
